The Past Few Weeks

About 3 weeks ago we found out I was pregnant. So I went to the doctor for my first appointment and all of that fun stuff. Well I had and ultrasound done and they couldn't see anything because I was just too early. About a week later I had some bleeding and cramping that got progressively stronger I went to the doctor and they didn't see anything on the ultrasound again so their assumption as well as mine was that I was miscarrying. It was hard but I was kinda grateful that if I was gonna go through all of this it was better now than later on in the pregnancy. So during that week I had a couple of blood draws because the doctor wanted to watch my hormone levels to make sure that they were going back down to normal. Well last week I called to find out what the results were from the blood draw on the 6th. She said that my hormone levels had still gone up and that the doctor wanted to see me on Thursday. So Ryan and I went to the appointment the next morning. They did another ultrasound and still didn't see anything, so then we had to wait for the doctor, which seemed like we were waiting forever! He told us that he wanted to do another blood draw because my hormone levels had still gone up last week even with the bleeding going on and since they couldn't see anything on the ultrasound. He then told us that it was very likely that I had a tubal pregnancy, which if that was they case they would need to go in surgically and remove it. So they did the draw and I waited all day long to find out what was going on. Finally that afternoon I got a call and my hormone levels had still gone up and i was going in for surgery the next day. I was kinda freaked out to say the least, I've never been to a hospital or even had stitches let alone gone in for surgery. So Friday morning we waited to hear when I would need to go in, we got the call and I was scheduled to go in at 11:30am and we need to leave right away to check in. We got there checked in and were almost immediately called back for them to start prepping me. I was nervous and I know Ryan was too. Luckily it was all done laproscopicly so I only have two small incisions, less recovery time. Dr. Erickson was able to go in remove the cells and leave everything intact, we have a follow up appointment this Friday to check on everything. I am feeling pretty good now just a little sore kinda like I got beat up is all. We are so grateful that everything went well and that there weren't any complications. It definitely has been a challenge for us but I know that everything happens for a reason. We know we are gonna have a family and this hopefully will be our only hitch as we go down that road. We are so grateful for all of the support we have had from our families through all of this.

2 Years!!!

Well its a little late, but better than never. Last Monday Ryan and I celebrated our 2nd Anniversary. I can't believe it has already been two years. In some ways it seems like it was just a little bit ago, in others I can't remember what i did before I had Ryan in my life. He is so much fun and such a goof sometimes. We were able to spend the whole day together and went out to dinner that night, nothing fancy (poor students) but it was great to just have time together. We are so excited for the year to come and really the thing that we are most looking forward to is Graduation in May!!! Ryan will be done with his bachelors degree and will be able to find a job. I love how hard he works in school and I know that sometimes he can get discouraged because it is really tuff, but I know that he will keep going for us. I am so lucky to have him in my life and I thank my Heavenly Father for helping me find him. Love ya babe, hope next year is just a great as the last two.

Movin'

So we found an apartment that is close to ASU West, and we are moving on October 17th. We are really excited it is a little bigger but the best part is that it has a washer and dryer! We decided that we needed to move close to the school so Ryan can walk, he goes to Tempe but catches a bus at West. And since we only have one car it makes his school and my work schedule difficult, so for now I have to drop him off on my way and he can't come back till after I get off work at 5:00. (Which he hates on Mon. & Wed. since he only has one class and that class doesn't even start till 3:00pm) I am happy to move, but at the same time I am procrastinating packing because I just don't even know where to start!

School Has Started Again!

Ryan started back to school yesterday, I think he was excited but not all at the same time. He is now just two short semesters away from graduation! We are both very excited about that and can't wait for this part of our lives to be over so we can move on to the next. Right now May 2010 seems quite far away but I know it will go fast and that Ryan will be blessed for all the hard work he has put into his education.

WICKED!!!

Well we got to go see Wicked on the 4th, It was so awesome!!! I love the show and all of the music. Ryan and I went with his mom and brother. I am so lucky to have a husband that likes to go and will go see musicals with me. We went and had a great time, awesome seats on the Grand Tier this time really a great view from where we were, only your occasional old person asking quite loudly how they were doing some of the effects for the show. Other than that not too bad, no major issues with people around us. We had quite a nice long weekend together and are excited to actually get out of town for a little while in a couple of weeks, the count down to vacation has begun!
